About Us
The Orchard Day Nursery is open plan and has been professionally designed internally, providing the ultimate setting for all aspects of stimulating play and activities, encouraging skills such as basic number concept, reading, writing and computer skills in readiness for school. We have the facilities for children from the age of 6 weeks to 8 years, who are cared for by highly trained staff.
Having such a qualified team enables us to lay the foundations for your child's future learning and development, giving them the best possible start in life.
Unique to the nursery is a wonderful garden in which the children can experience the mysteries of nature and have the space to run and play. A carefully designed play frame is situated on the lawn, complemented by a large selection of suitable outdoor equipment.
Babies are cared for in a safe, warm, home like environment and are monitored throughout the day. An after-school and holiday facility is provided with a pick up service within the local area.
We see meal times as an important social occasion and part of our aim is to cater for all dietary requirements according to the parents' wishes. We provide three home cooked meals a day with a id-morning snack. All meals are prepared on the premises by a fully qualified chef using fresh food.
Parents are more than welcome in the nursery at all times and are encouraged to stay and settle their children according to the childs' needs.
